A gem in the Eden Valley, the lodge is surrounded by walking trails, fields and woodland. If the adventures from your doorstep leave you wanting more, then hop in the car and travel a little further to explore picturesque Lake District villages, marvel at the ancient Castlerigg Stone circle (12.5 miles), or embark on invigorating hikes up local peaks like Blencathra (9.5 miles). Nestled in a rural setting, the lodge offers convenient access to various attractions within a short drive; discover charming Greystoke village (4 miles) where you can relish a meal at a local pub or explore the historic St Andrews’ Church, dating back to 1255. For one of the Lake District’s most popular towns, head to Keswick (14 miles) where you’ll find local shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well the starting points for many of the region’s best walking trails.

On entering this welcoming holiday lodge, you're greeted by a large entrance hall, with plenty of space for shoes, coats and soggy dogs to get dried off. To the left is the social heart of the property, the open-plan lounge, kitchen, and diner. You’ll immediately notice how light and bright the rooms are thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, which allow you to be at one with nature from the comfort of the lodge. The well-equipped large corner kitchen has all you need to whip up a memorable group meal, which can be enjoyed at the nearby dining table with space for six and garden views.

To unwind after dinner, follow the warmth of the wood burner and settle into the sumptuous sofas that await in front of the Smart TV – the perfect setting for a family movie night. When eyes start to close, find the three charming bedrooms – two stylish double rooms and a cosy twin bedroom. Completing the lodge is a well-appointed family bathroom with shower over bath.

Outside, while there is no private garden space, you’ll find plenty of shared greenery and woodland to explore as a group, or with the dog on a quiet morning walk. The complex is set back off a quiet road in a peaceful location, but with easy access to the A66 and M6.
