Comfortable cottage and I would like to live here all the comfort of home. However, you need to remove the wall to gain easier access to parking and gain access to the road. Still manageable for one car but a tight squeeze for two.

The house is lovely and well equipped for a cosy stay. Has a few boardgame options, vibrant fireplace and good recommendations to eat around the area. Only flag is the punchy mold smell throughout the house, which left us a bit concerned. Also theres no garden area, but if walking and hiking are your goals the place is a quick drive away from a fewRead more good spots. You will be reliant on your car, fyi. The hosts were nice enough to let us checkout later on the day. Hide

This is a sweet cosy cottage. We liked the location and the layout. It is small and I wouldnt recommend it for a family as youll be tripping over each other. There is no garden which wasnt clear from the description and the house can feel damp which makes it difficult to dry clothes (there is no tumble dryer).

Great cottage if you want to enjoy the Lake District without the crowds. There are a lot of hill walks and spectacular views over the mountains and fells. Ulverston is a great shopping centre and there is a local very good pub with food just a ten minute walk away. I will be staying again.

Lovely little cottage for a few nights, nicely decorated in keeping with the property. Had everything youd need. The laundry room and 3rd toilet an added bonus. Not quite in Ulverston though easy access to Windermere, via ferry to Ambleside, Coniston close by. Great range of supermarkets nearby, you will definitely need a car.

Lovely week in the sunshine, this beautiful + comfy cottage is ideally situated for Coniston, Windemere +the coast. There had been a mix up so it wasn't ready when we arrived but I called the office (which had shut) and was given an emergency number. The owner + cleaner both arrived promptly to sort it all out + were very apologetic. All good, thesRead moree things happen. Do be aware the emergency number is only attended to until 9pm though so I would advise arriving before then in case of issues. Hide
