The single room enjoys lovely views over the garden, there is also a king-size (which can be made up into a twin on request) and a lovely master with it's own en-suite. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower. The spacious garden with large lawn, stream and small waterfalls will prove a hit with youngsters and hounds, while you relax in the patio area.
Enjoy a cycle ride or walk around the edge of Lake Windermere or take to the water itself and hire boats, windsurfing boards and canoes. Explore Wray Castle (1.5 miles), a Gothic building which sits on the shores of the Lake, with turrets, towers and informal grounds. Head to the pretty village of Hawkshead (2.5 miles) and visit the Beatrix Potter Gallery, along with one of its many tea rooms and cafes. Local shops, pubs and a restaurant are within 3 miles of the cottage.
