This luxury 2 bedroomed barn conversion with lakeland charm offers superior holiday accommodation. Set in the grounds of a gentleman’s country residence, it has a fantastic elevated location with spectacular views across the mountains, yet is only a short walk across the fields to the picturesque village of Hawkshead.

THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF

The large barn door leads into the entrance hall with payphone. The landing has heated storage for drying coats and boots leading to the large main living room with fantastic views to the Kentmere, Fairfield and Helvellyn ranges.

There is a dining table and chairs and 2 comfortable settees, TV with sky, DVD, video and CD player. The owners have also installed free broadband internet access for clients wishing to use their own computer during their stay. A selection of books, games, CDs, DVDs and videos complete this relaxing room. The fitted kitchen is of excellent quality with electric cooker and hob, full sized fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

There are two bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin with co-ordinated fabrics and pine furniture.

The bathroom is of a very high standard with power shower over the bath, curved shower screen, washbasin and w.c and chrome fittings.

Easily controllable gas central heating make this property ideal for all year round stays.

Outside there is a charming patio area and for Spring 2010 the owners have lovingly created a wonderful new garden for the sole use of guests at Cowpers Barn. Steps lead up to this sunny, very private, enclosed, 'secret garden' with table and chairs and BBQ, a lawned area and flower beds. They have also provided a secure shed for storage of bikes.
