Comment: Lovely apartment, very cosy with good facilities on the shores of Esthwait Water. Lovely to walk down to the shore, even in the rain. Log burner for cooler weather. We really enjoyed our stay.

Comment: This was our second year at this delightful location. Our dog just loves chasing around the paddock, looking for rabbits but never catching any, and going for early morning walks by the lake. It is a very safe environment for both children and dogs. This is a really special place and we are privileged to be able to share its beauty and peace. Thank you so much. Adrian and Ann. Comment: We had a fabulous stay at Buttermere, the scenery and the cottage are great. Recommend to eat and have a drink at the Tower Bank Arms Pub which is only a couple of minute walk from the cottage, the food is good honest homecooking and the staff are very friendly.
This is the second time we have stayed at Buttermere and we currently saving for our next visit.
It is a wonderful location and close to the beautiful Hawkshead, thanks again hideaways, see you soon hopefully.
