Comment: A pleasant compact cottage which gave us an excellent base for the Lakes. The modernised bathroom was good and as we prefer a shower the absence of a bath was not missed. Enjoyed the open log fire.

Comment: Lovely little cottage in a great spot. The real fire is a big bonus even if the kitchen is a bit small.
Great character.

Comment: We had a wonderful week staying at Angel Cottage.
Met the owners who are lovely. Hawkshead is a great
village that has easy access to Ambleside, Windermere
and Coniston. There are some great walks around
Hawkshead. Latterbarrow and Tan Hows are easily
accessible (Tarn Hows Waterfall
