Manor House Cottage is a charming, comfortable cottage retaining plenty of character, in the village of Wray on the start of a little lane which leads down to the shore of Lake Windermere.
This detached cottage is in a quiet, rural location and has a large, enclosed garden. It is an ideal base for those wanting to walk, cycle or enjoy messing about on the lake with many routes close-by.
THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF
There is a porch at the front of the cottage..ideal for muddy boots, which leads to the living room. The large woodburning stove is a lovely focal point, with settee and chairs, flatscreen TV, and DVD, this room is cosy and welcoming. There is a large table and chairs for family meals and access to the rear garden. There is wifi internet access.
The separate kitchen next door has a electric cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an additional table and chairs in the kitchen.
Upstairs there are three pretty bedrooms all with dorma windows and sloping ceilings. There is a spacious room with the flexibility of zip link single beds which can be made up as a queen bed on request. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and a 3rd smaller bedroom, has a single bed .
The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, basin and wc.
Outside there is a large enclosed lawned garden which leads up to the woodlands beyond. A sunny patio area with garden furniture is next to the cottage and accessed through the back door from the lounge is perfect for relaxing and appreciating the tranquility of this location.
There is off road parking for 2 cars to the front of the cottage
The cottage is heated throughout by storage and electric panel heaters, making it ideal for all year round use.
The adjoining barn is perfect for storing bikes or canoes.
