Bridge View is a pretty semi- detached cottage set in a beautiful garden with millpond and stream close by. It has lovely views down the Vale of Esthwaite and is set in a wonderful peaceful location only a short walk from the village.
The cottage is immaculately presented with great attention to detail, creating a welcoming home where guests can really relax.
You enter into the spacious kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge and separate freezer and microwave. There is a dining table and chairs and 2 comfortable armchairs. There is also a gas fire if required. Next door there is a light and airy lounge with views down the valley. This room has a electric wood burning stove, comfortable 3 piece suite, flat screen TV with Sky Freeview and DVD player. The owners have provided a selection of guide books for guests.
Under the stairs there is a useful storage space with a washing machine.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, enhanced by pretty co-ordinated fabrics; and of course lovely views from every window. There is one double with a washbasin, a twin and a smaller single bedroom. The stylish bathroom has a electric shower over the bath , basin and WC and heated towel rail.
The house is heated throughout by gas central heating as well as the gas fire and electric wood burning stove and is perfect for stays at any time of year.
Outside guests have the use of the large lawned garden to the front of the house or the patio area with garden furniture to the side of the property. The south facing garden is well cared for and a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Lake District - please be aware because of the open water young children will need to be supervised.
There is ample off-road parking by the cottage.
We are sure that the combination of the Bridge View's fantastic location, immaculate presentation and beautiful gardens will make this a firm favorite with our guests !
