West Vale Cottage is a romantic retreat in the village of Far Sawrey. This single-storey holiday cottage commands breathtaking views over rolling fields towards Coniston Old Man, from it's very own patio garden. There are wonderful walks and bicycle rides from the cottage doorstep and you are only a short walk to Hilltop the home of Beatrix Potter, surrounded by the countryside which inspired her. West Vale is still only a few miles from the centre of Hawkshead village. Set within the romantic grounds of 5 star West Vale Country House at Far Sawrey it is also close to Lake Windermere and the car ferry crossing to Bowness. There are 2 great local pubs only a couple of minutes stroll from your door both serving food. The property is spacious for a couple and beautifully presented; comfy leather sofas, luxurious bedroom and stylish bathroom with Moulton-Brown toiletries and fluffy towels to make for a relaxing break.
