Garth Court is part of an elegant country house at the heart of Beatrix Potter country, but close to Hawkshead and Lake Windermere. It enjoys picturesque peace and quiet in its' colourful courtyard setting. It has stunning views to lake and fells from the private balcony. This two bedroomed property is very comfortably furnished and well equipped with the flexibility of either 2 double bedrooms or a double and a twin if requested. Guests have a wonderful courtyard with furniture and also access to the main gardens with stunning views across Esthwaite and sunny lawns where you can relax and soak up the tranquility of this lovely location.
Sawrey is a great location for a romantic or family stay, not only having a wide range of walks straight from the door, a children's playground up the lane, but also having 2 very good pubs within easy walking distance.

From the courtyard steps lead up to the private balcony entrance where French doors lead into the stylish split-level living / kitchen / dining area. There is comfortable seating , a wall mounted flatscreen TV with Sky Freeview and a DVD and a CD player. There is also wifi internet access. Down a few steps to the kitchen area with built in electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher and microwave.
A hallway leads to the two pretty king-size bedrooms; the first is en-suite (with a shower room, basin and wc) and enjoys a view over the courtyard. The second offers the flexibility of zip-linked bed which can be made up as a twin if requested with bathroom with shower over bath basin and wc. The property is heated by easily controllable wall mounted electric heaters, making it warm and cosy, perfect for all year round use.
As well as a beautiful floral courtyard with furniture, guests also have access to the lawns to the front of the country house. There is off road parking for 2 cars at the front of the house.
