Close to the famous beauty spot of Tarn Hows - this peaceful rural location is ideal for those wanting to enjoy tranquility, wildlife and have plenty of walks straight from the door. Built into the hillside the main entrance is at upper floor level. The porch leads to the large entrance hall. The main sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating and a welcoming open fire.TV, Sky +, video, DVD, mini hi-fi. and views over the beautiful garden to the mountains. There is a separate dining room which will comfortably seat 8 . The stylish kitchen is very well equipped with a 5 ring gas hob, electric double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and built in microwave and table and chairs for 8. Steps lead down from the kitchen to the patio. On this floor there are two bedrooms - one double (king-size) and one twin with washbasin. There is also a modern bathroom with power shower over the bath, basin, wc and luxurious underfloor heating.
Stairs lead to the lower floor where there is a second sitting room with a wood burning stove flatscreen TVw ith Sky + and garden views. On this lower level there are two further bedrooms - one double and one twin both with washbasins and a newly fitted modern shower room with double shower cubicle, wc, basin and underfloor heating. There is a utility room with access to the garden and garage and a room with a washing machine and dryer providing secure bike storage
Outside there is half an acre of mature gardens -trees, shrubs, lawns, woodland and a shallow pond - children can safely play while the adults relax with a cup of tea or a glass of wine on the patio

Comment: we had a wonderful family break with three genrations of our family. Although the garden has apond our grandson 2yrs enjoyed the garden running around with various family members. The accomodation was great large enough for everyone and the shower room and bathroom were excellent. we have already recommeded this property to other family members. A very enjoyable relaxing break for all of us.

Comment: The property was clean comfortable and
extremely spacious. We holidayed with my
daughter and son in law and their 21 month old
daughter,the garden was ideal for her to run
around in. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet
with easy access to good walking from the door
of the cottage, Tarn Hows being only a short
walk away.

Comment: A lovely,spacious,very well maintained property. Extremely well equipped kitchen.The garden was a delight with wildlife just outside the kitchen window.Easy walking distance to Tarn Hows & a fishing trip to Esthwaite water provided trout for tea.
