Property Inspections

To ensure continuing high standards in accommodation, as well as our weekly visits and checks to each property all our properties undergo rigourous annual inspections .

At Lakeland Hideaways we pride ourselves on the quality of our cottages. We are small enough to really know our properties and and are very "hands on" . Each week our management team carries out regular inspections of our properties... ensuring very high levels of cleanliness and good standards of equipment - making sure each property is equivalent to, or above English Tourist Board 3 star - please see Holiday Cottage Inventory page for further information.

We believe that by giving you detailed descriptions, photos and virtual tours we can accurately describe our cottages. As we know our cottages very well we are happy to discuss your requirements and aim to help you choose the very best cottage to suit your needs.

We are pleased that so many of our guests take time to fill out the questionnaire at the end of their stay and we take guests recommendations for improvements very seriously.They are collated and passed on with our own suggestions to the owners twice a year. We work with owners and guests to ensure the homes are kept at their very best and continue to be well maintained and improved year on year.
